Eric Marcus
Eric Marcus is co-author with Greg Louganis of the #1 New York Times bestselling Breaking the Surface (Random House, 1995). He is also the author or co-author of seven other books: Together Forever: Gay & Lesbian Couples Share Their Secrets for Lasting Happiness (Anchor, 1998, 1999); Icebreaker: The Autobiography of Rudy Galindo [co-authored with Rudy Galindo] (Pocket Books, 1997); Why Suicide? (HarperSanFrancisco, 1996); Is It A Choice? (HarperSF, 1993, 1999); Expect the Worst (You Won't Be Disappointed) (HarperSF, 1992); Making History: The Struggle for Gay & Lesbian Equal Rights, 1945-1990 (HarperCollins, 1992); and The Male Couple's Guide (HarperCollins, 1988, 1992, 1999).
Raised in New York City, he graduated in 1980 from Vassar College and in 1984 completed his masters degree at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He is a former associate producer for both "Good Morning America" and "CBS This Morning."
